At my job, we order from Angelo's as often as we can. If we're working late and want a special treat, if it's someone's birthday, if it's especially cold out. We had one day where we ordered Angelo's twice! Their crust is thin, but substantial. The sauce is thick, fresh and tangy and all of their toppings are also fresh cut. You will not find a canned mushroom on an Angelo's pizza. They also make a great vegetable pizza with no cheese for the lactose-intolerant among us. Their salads are also delicious. The house dressing is light and flavorful.
Angelo's is my absolute favorite pizza.

You can taste the freshness of the ingredients used to make the pizzas in this Midtown restaurant. Although the location is convenient to some hotels it is somewhat out of the way for other things you may be doing, and the ambiance is nothing to write home about. I must stress however that the pizza sauce is better than Lombardi's, and arguably the crust might be too. Taste them both and decide for yourself.

My husband and I just went to Angelo's Pizza last night! It was phenomenal! I dare say it was just as good or even better than Patsy's or John's! The service was great. We were in and out in a half an hour. The restaurant was clean and welcoming. We would come back without a doubt! I'm actually craving the pizza as I'm typing this review:)
