I recommend to every animal owner that can make the trip, to once a year take your pet to Dr. Wen. Have him examine your pet and rest assured that you have done the best you can do. Our Golden/Malamute was seven when she was diagnosed with hemangiosarcoma. Every vet said forget it - she's dead in 2 months. Dr. Wen was also brief with his words, but he said 'she's probably got a 50/50 chance'. He put her on an herbal regime, changed her diet, and said come back in 4 months. We said ' but she's only supposed to live for 2 months'. He said 'I'll see you in four months'. We were in shock, hopeful, but guarded, we prayed a lot. We walked her, comforted her, gave her the herbs, changed her diet from kibble to hamburger, carrots, kale, broccoli, garlic & cabbage. She's still eating the same diet 7 years later. Everyone says 'amazing' and so is Dr. Wen. He may not say much, after all he's got a lot of work to do, and a lot on his mind. By the way, I think his rates are very reasonable. Yes the herbal therapy was a bit expensive, but it worked, so ultimately it was a bargain. I hope everyone has the same results, but don't expect that pills will solve everything. I have taken my cats and dog to both Drs. Wen and Gucciardi and have never been disappointed. One of my cats had a large tumor (that's what x-rays are for) in a place that was unoperable, and after a short time on an herbal med, the tumor had shrunk beyond belief (again, the proof was in the x-ray). I regret that I didn't know about him sooner! I have always had a positive experience there, with staff and doctors. The women at the front desk are always friendly. I suspect there may be some ONE person posting negative reviews on here...note that they all sound suspiciously alike. Dr. Wen is the furthest thing from arrogant, and takes his time answering any questions I have. I highly recommend both Doctors.

Dr. Wen takes time with your pet, he sees many pets who tried standard therapy from conventional medicine that failed and his alternative methods have healed so they can live comfortable lives. He has had tons of success in shrinking ...

He diagnosed my dog with lymphoma and told me the only treatment that would work was daily herbal capsules. He seemed a bit like a snake oil salesman. I followed up with an oncologist, who laughed at Wen and said what he offered was worthless. Lymphoma is highly treatable with chemotheraphy. It has been 7 months since this happened. My dog is currently in remission and is doing great! If your dog is seriously ill do not go to this guy, he is not good.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS VET. HERBALS ARE THEIR SOLUTION TO EVERYTHING. MY POOR DOG DIED BY NOT DIAGNOSING IT IN TIME. KEEP AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!
