I just got my first brazilian wax (actually my first wax ever) here and it was probably as pleasant as a brazilian wax can be. I had Roselie, who was very friendly and sweet and quick (thank God). It was not completely pain-free but the mild sting went away after about an hour. Definitely going here for my next wax.

Waxing is painful, but it brings such a pleasant feeling afterwards--the feeling of being clean, lighter and more beautiful! All thanks to Mariazinha, my lovely friend that has worked so hard for so many years in the salon business--can we say waxing business?--just to perfect her expertise in making all of us girls look prettier and sexier after a waxing session! I love it. I travel about 50 miles once a month just to see Mariazinha at this pretty salon on Prince street. What a location also! Even if I don't have time to do anything else during my trip, I am happy after 100 miles just for a waxing! But if you do have time after, you'll find yourself in the best location in the city. Get yourself a cup of coffee after that 15 minutes of waxing and go for a walk...and enjoy downtown! Mariazinha is exclusive, and I am always recommending her to friends. She is a hard worker, summer and winter. Whether she is feeling good or not, she is always there for you...not just as an excellent professional, but as a friend. I can't wait for the next visit!
